Meet the Staff
The Big Man and Garrett is the brainchild of two college friends who wanted to promote intelligent discussion in the video game community. Too often web journalism lacks quality simply because of the fact that anyone can create anything. In order to differentiate ourselves from the majority of freelance web journalism out there we decided that regular video updates would help keep our audience entertained and put a face on the authors. We hope to promote intelligence in the gaming community and a fun chunk of commentary each week. Continue below to meet our writers!

About Me: “What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.” I can’t complain. Life is good, regardless of circumstance. I’m a college grad just trying to figure things out. I landed a job as a Graphic Designer in Virginia Beach, so here I am. I felt like a blog would be a good way to release my passion for gaming. I’m marrying my best friend in November, which excites me to no end. Also, I love Travel Channel. Bizarre Foods anyone?
Hey man I was wondering if you guys are interested in partnering up with GamingFront.net. You can email me at oriol003@gmail.com.
Thanks.
Two new writers? Looking forward to it! Are you guys aiming to have one regular column for each writer?
Yes. At least one column per writer, possibly more. We’ll see how many readers we get. The more hits we get, the more articles we’re likely to pump out
Also, Jared’s really the only new one…John is the Big Man, and Brandon has been writing the ‘Games You Probably Like…” column.
-Garrett
Oh yeah, my bad, sorry! I think I’ve seen four different names for Big Man so I got a little confused it seems.
Does the new writer mean your hits are getting higher?
300-400 views a day right now. Not bad considering we started just 3 weeks ago
That’s pretty damn good, congrats. Will continue to pick up no doubt.
Will you guys be slotting up any contact details? I don’t mean to keep posting irrelevant questions on pages that don’t need it so it’d be good.
Hi, in addition to adding a feedback page for general feedback, tips, criticism of the blog I have also created my own account, and will ask Brandon and Jared to follow suit when I next talk to them.
‘Ello all, this is Brandon, probably the most hated of the four of us thanks to my slightly controversial pieces. I apologize for not being very responsive in comments thus far. It’s mainly due to the fact that I am planning a monthly response post in which I address everyone’s concerns and compliments with my columns
well u guys have one more fan
count me in
cool site
Awesome man! Glad you’re enjoying it. I’m hoping to put a new article up this afternoon. We’ve been horribly inconsistent lately.

This is a fake man. It’s using the PS3 Slim mockup from NeoGAF from a couple of weeks ago. You should update the article to reflect this.
